You get up early in the morning to get ready for the day. That in and of itself is an easy thing to do; however not only do you have yourself to think about you have everyone in your household to think of too. You are the the right hand for everyone and still you need to have a little bit of time for yourself. When do you find "your time"
When my children were growing up, "my time" was from the moment the last drink had been gotten, the last time, "I have to use the bathroom" was said and the house fell silent for those brief moments before I myself had to get a little bit of shut eye.
What is it you do during "your time?"
As for me it is off to the scraproom and do a little bit of create fun. When my kids were little, I would put together page kits so that everything I needed to complete one layout was in one bag. There was a sticky note on the outside that told me which layout, the stamp set, ink colors and embellishments I was going to use and the paper and pictures were tucked inside. The best part of my creative time is the fact that I had Close To My Heart's "How-to" Programs. When I was creating pages I would use:
These are tools that I use all the time to create as they offer me an opportunity to create immediately rather than "trying to figure out" what I want to create.
