The more I play with the EXCLUSIVE stamp set that comes with this months special "ROCK THE BLOCK" the more I REEEALLLY love it!
This little project was SO simple! First let me tell you that I LOVE notebooks, sticky notes, tablets anything I can "jot a little "note on, must be the paper; the scent, the texture, the feel... I don't know I've always loved paper. School supply shopping, I am SO there! Probably why, even though my kids aren't in school any longer, I still have 7 cases of spiral notebooks in my storage closet. You guessed it, my kids always had plenty of supplies to write, draw and express themselves. Anyway, I digress to that happy place of paper, **maybe that's another reason I love Close To My Heart -- their PAPER** Have you seen the film "UP" you know... squirrel!
Back to the project, I took a coaster that I'd gotten from a restaurant, a sticky note pad and a big binder clip, three of these things are kinda the same, a 4x4 and a 2 x??? piece of Colonial White CS, the RTB stamp set and my black and tulip ink and random stamped them... watch for the video on this tomorrow! Then I took a piece of Tulip CS and placed it on my Cricut mat, loaded it into my cricut and using my AP cartridge cut out a 4 1/4" scalloped square. Attached the cricut scalloped square to one side and the random stamped cs to the other, took my binder clip and covered it with the 2x??? piece of cs and trimmed it to fit. Clipped the sticky note on and VIOLA a pretty display for my sticky notes... :D
